The Cyprus Meteorological Department has issued a yellow warning for strong winds on Wednesday.

According to the warning, very strong winds, blowing southerly to southeasterly, force 6-7 Beaufort are expected to affect the eastern half of the island. Locally the winds may reach 8 Beaufort.

The warning is valid from tomorrow 09.00 local time until 16.00.
