Weather in Ayia Napa
Ayia Napa is a popular tourist resort that is famous for its golden sandy beaches with the most famous one being Nissi Beach. The resort is located on the eastern end of the south coast of Cyprus near Cape Greco. A small fishing village before, in recent years Ayia Napa has become one of Europe’s biggest clubbing regions.
The weather in Ayia Napa is typical for other coastal cities in Cyprus that experience influence of the sea. Winters are mild with temperatures reaching 17°C at daytime and not going lower than 7°C at night. Summers are hot with peak temperatures of 33°C in August. Due to the influence of the sea winters in Agia Napa are a little (about 2°C) warmer than inland and summers are cooler by 4°C-5°C than inland.
