Cyprus is bracing for a heat wave over the weekend as temperatures are expected to soar to 41 degrees Celsius over the next few days. The Meteorological Service expects temperatures to rise to above-average levels until Sunday, with the heat wave being attributed to high atmospheric pressures and north-easterly wind currents coming over from Syria.
