After a week of unbroken sunshine, the muddled weather is set to return this weekend, with much of the island under overcast skies.

Rain and even storms are expected to hit the coastal areas, bringing a short burst of blustery weather across the island.

Temperatures are expected to reach 27oC in Nicosia, and 22oC on the west coasts and 23oC in the east.

Unsettled conditions should clear by Monday afternoon, according to the Met Office.
